Meet the dedicated team behind ICDC, working together to serve and uplift our community
Born and raised in Queens, NYC, the Imam of ICDC embarked on a spiritual journey from an early age. By the age of seven, the imam began the memorization of the Noble Quran, a remarkable accomplishment completed by the age of eleven.
Driven by a deep passion for Islamic knowledge, the imam pursued an extensive and rigorous educational path. This journey began with a seven-year undergraduate program at Darul Uloom NY. The pursuit of deeper understanding then led to South Africa, where the imam completed undergraduate studies in Shariah, earning both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Islamic Studies.
In addition to formal education, the imam has been honored with numerous traditional Ijazahs (licenses), which grant the authority to teach and narrate in Islamic Law, Theology, and the biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. These accolades are a testament to the imam’s dedication to preserving and sharing authentic Islamic teachings.
Following these academic achievements, the imam committed seven years to serving the Dallas community. A significant focus of this service has been on youth development, offering mentorship and guidance in both professional and spiritual growth.
Outside of leadership and teaching roles, the imam enjoys a variety of hobbies, including hiking, playing basketball, and riding motorcycles. Professionally, the imam is also a QA Engineer and possesses expertise in Software Development, combining a passion for both faith and technology in everyday life.
